Chionochloa rubra tussockland on hillslope.

Notes:
Underleaves absent. Cells densely pluripapillose (stems smooth). Capsule walls and spores dark red. Perianth terminal, terete. No perichaetial leaves. Oil bodies 2-3/cell, ovoid, finely granular, clear, 5x5 - 10x5 µm.
