Notes:

Population of about 30 plants. Fine-leaved tussock, upright; culms smooth and trailing on the ground 48-108 cm long. Sheaths dark red, the edges becoming finely fibrous. Leaves concavo-convex, 30-44 cm long, c. 1 mm wide, finely scabrid the whole length, pale green, tips very fine and acuminate, not cirrhose but twisting. Spikes clustered approximately at the culm apex, with one way distant below which is peduncled and pedulous.
