Notes:
Medium tussocks, caespitose, pale green to straw; rhizomatous. Plants female. Sheaths pale brown or straw. Leaves erect, concavo-convex (slightly convex), pale green (leaves shaggy towards the apex but not curled); leaf-tip flat and subacute. Plants female, Culms terete, smooth or finely scabrid just below inflorescence. Utricles narrow elliptic. Glumes > utricles. No new seasons flowers seen in these populations.
