Notes:
Habit: flatish, spreading widely; not caespitose. Lvs bright green, shallowly channelled. Leaf-sheath light red-brown. Culms long > leaves and spreading out, slightly scabrid below inflorescence; last seasons culms are 45-60 cm long, c. 0.8 mm wide. Spikes 30-35 mm long, utricles spreading widely when mature. Glumes membraneous and deciduous, less than utricles.
