Dune hollows, (two clumps 200 m apart). Shrubland with gaps. Gap between Acacia sophorae, Pittosporum crassifolium.

Notes:
Leaves dull olive-green on both sides, rather soft, tip apiculate but not spiky; margins finely "toothed". Leaf bases fleshy, oozing clear 'jelly' when cut. Cross-section measured fresh: 65 mm wide, 25 mm deep. Flower bracts pink.
