Notes:
Flower headsconspicuously fluffy, whitish. Leaf sheaths keeled, folded; blade flat, villous abaxially and on margins. Culm c. 30-35 cm; inflorescence 30-40 mm. Ligule seemd ciliate. Several racemes aggregated from within a spathe-like sheath. Racemes c. 50 mm long, villous. Pedicelled racemes with no florets from same node as single sessile spike.
