Habitat:
Dense grove of suckering trees, flowering along c. 20 metres of track between State Highway 1 and lake. Not cultivated.
Notes:
Flowers white, strongly scented. Petals elliptic to orbicular, c. 12 x 10 mm. Younf leaves with a few hairs at base of midrib on underside. Serration rounded, with pale cusp.
Pedicels 18-20 mm long with conspicuous glands. Hypanthium broadly campanulate (cf. P. avium).
