Note:
Best match for this var., though stamens = 3. Leaves acute, 2.5 mm wide, rounded in cross section. Tepals black striped with wide silver margin. Bractlets silver, membranous, ciliate. Capsule green, c. = tepals. Inflorescence 18 mm x 7 mm, of close spaced spikelets, with more distant lower group. Plants non-rhizomatous.
