Notes:
Cones collected from medium sized tree, estimate (40yrs) that is presumed to have established from shelterbelts to the NW. Several saplings to 1.5 m tall. Has been confused with Pinus ponderosa, but cones are larger, foliage is bluer, and bark on mature tree is square - compare rectangular plates.
