Notes:
Clump-forming herb. Leaves long and arching over to ground, remaining ± half-folded proximally; midrib sunken above. Inflorescence suberect, peduncle ± flattened, extending well above leaves. Perianth tube c. 3 cm long, pale green; segments c. 12 cm long x 2 cm (outer ones) or 4 cm (inner), orange-yellow, attenuated elliptic. Filaments 4.5-5.5 cm long, curved, orange yellow. Style c. 10 cm long, same colour. Bracts herbaceous lower down below inflorescence, becoming membranous in inflorescence. A form of this well-known species that usually has darker reddish stripes on the perianth.
