Notes:
Large rosette-forming monocarpic? herb. Leaves to > 1 m long and well-developed ones c. 13 cm wide in middle, deep green, rather pungent - tipped but lacking marginal teeth. Inflorescence a giant panicle 5-6 m high with well-spaced downward curving branches to > 1 m long. Flowers from ground (just after storm) and any scent not obvious. Perianth c. 5 cm long; tube c. 2 cm long, narrow, pale green, ribbed longitudinally; segments elliptic, pale creamy-yellow (originally whitish), margins ± revolute. Stamen anthers c. 1 cm long, acuminate.
