Notes:
Small tree (? young) 3-4 m high, widespreading. Inflorescence in axils of leaf along the shoots. Raceme to c. 10 cm long including peduncle. Bracts and pedicels pinkish-brown, latter c. 1.5 cm long. Calyx pink; sepals 4-5 mm long, rounded. Petals pink or salmon-pink, 11-13 mm long, broad elliptic, remaining concave inside. Stamens short and long, with glabrous red anthers. Style c. 1.7 cm long, red, curved over flower. Stipules c. 8 mm long, subulate and unlobed, caducous.
