Farm - rabbit fenced gully - not stock grazed for 10+ years. Steep-sided gully, very dry.
Microhabitat:
Road edge looking NW down gully.
Notes:
Biocontrol: Horehound (Marrubium vulgare) Invertebrate and Pathogen Survey 2017-2018.Property owner Bruce Jolly is agreeable for release of BC agents.Abundance: Moderate (>100 m² ). Percent of cover at densest accessible point: 35%. Visual inspection for herbivore damage: none. Absence of wilt symptoms. Some yellowing/death of lower leaves ≡ drought stress, natural senescence? New growth healthy. Cause of damage: collected x10 beats - very little came off plants - few invertebrates. Hand collected 1 pentatomid adult, and 1 nymph spittle bug.
