Det by Vitt as M. prorepens; in Vitt's key this goes to vicinity M. prorepens as per Vitt's det.; In my key (28 March) this keys to M prorepens as per Vitt's det. leaves strongly crisped and weakly spiralled around branches when dry; laminal cells strongly bulging and pluripapillose inner basal cells elongate, tuberculate; lf margins entire; capsules nil; calyptrae nil.
