Notes:
Tree 10-12 m high, slender trunk; bark smooth and light grey to a few metres above ground, thin and scaly near base. But this species is an "Ironbark". Leaves dark shining green above, with pale midrib, discolorous. Semi-juvenile leaves wider than adult ones. Buds in groups of 3-5.
