Notes:
Tree 6-7 m high. Bark deep brown, rough and flaking; habit dense. Leaflets reddish-brown when very young, dark shining green above when mature. Flowers (few late ones only present) on racemes beneath the main part of the canopy, distant in the raceme. Petals white, 5-6 mm long, narrow oblanceolate, distant within corolla. Stamen "cone" c. 4 mm long, white. Rare and probably fairly recently introduced for medicine.
