Habitat:
Seed collected from plants next to Lake Rotoiti and Rotoma, mostly open sites. Associated species: Cyathea medullaris canopy with Coprosma robusta, Geniostoma ligustrifolium, Veronica stricta understory.
Habitat modification: Water level- flactuating Water levels, some rock/land falls. Land use: Lake edge, regenerating. Landform: Lake edge. Soil colour and texture: Sandy. Aspect:SW. Slope: Flat.
Notes:
Plant height 3-10m. At Rotoma mostly shrubs up to 3m, at Rotoiti - taller trees found in forest.
