Rocky outcrop in the middle of steep bog, Chionochloa macro, Schoenus paucifolius, Epilobium sp., Viola, Carex sp., Plantago sp., Gentianella amabillis.

Erect, rosettes of golden coriaceous leaves, old leaves retained around base, leaves 30cm by 5cm. Plants up to 50cm high including flower, 2-3 disk florets per plant.
