Small tree 5-6 m high. Trunk with whitish bloom. Leaves several metres long, arching; petiole pale yellow with dark purple spots, especially in proximal half. Fruit 1.8-1.9 cm long, ± ovoid-oblong but often a little curved and asymmetric, orange; flesh very thin and viscid. Fruiting branch. Commonly cultivated.
