Notes:
Rhizomatous herb. Leaves ± erect. Inflorescence on separate stem, < leaves, 6-9 x 3-4.5 cm, cone-like, green to red; bracts rounded and strongly imbricate. Flowers white. Perianth tube c. 4 cm long, curving; outer whorl of segments 2.3-2.5 cm long, ± lanceolate, translucent-white; inner labellum very frilled, crumpled and delicate always, broad, very pale yellow, c. 1.7 x 1.3 cm, bilobed, lateral 2 segments acuminate, ± narrow elliptic, white, exserted c. 2.5 cm beyond outer whorl. Anther c. 1 cm long, plus attached curved apical appendage with enclosed style, that is c. 6 mm long.
