A mixed collection of 1) Ranunculus multiscapus (specimen with tall flower), 2) Ranunculus royi (specimen with shorter fruiting peduncles - no flower present so cannot be certain of this ID, but most likely this sp., rather than R. foliosus on the basis of apparently near-sessile flowers and achene size 2.2mm).

Habitat:
The plot sits at the base of a scree slope between two small streams. The upper half of the plot is dominated by CHIrig and exotic pasture grasses. The lower half is a boggy turf community with MIMmos and many natives.
Notes:
DOC Tier 1 and MfE LUCAS Programme Plot: AT136; Sample Number: 20131080. Two forms found on the plot - a larger creeping plant (in the dry tussock grasslands), and a smaller tighter rosette (in the wetland turf areas).; Mixed collection. Seperated out into separate sleeves. This sample is RANmul.
