Habitat:
Mixed NOTtru, Broadleaf and Podocarp forest. NOTtru canopy with a WEIrac, MYRsal and QUIacu sub-canopy. Incredibly ferny (STIcun, BLEdis and BLEnov) understory. Fairly steep plot on a terrace above the river and below a small bluff.
Notes:
DOC Tier 1 and MfE LUCAS Programme Plot: BA109; Sample Number: 201400283. Forming large tussocks ~ 0.5 m tall. Dead leaves retained. No flowers or fruits. Old seed heads, were droopy.
