Habitat:
Planted in the gardens.
Notes:
2 plants. One plant 3-4 m high tree, the other shorter ~ 2 m was the one collected from. Growing in the Azalea garden, probably the large one is as old as the garden so about 1920. A few suckers grow up in the gardens, but no seedlings noted (pers. com. Dean Pendrigh, Curator of the Azalea garden)
