Habitat:
Grassland/shrubland near the road. The grassland community was not surveyed closely but is otherwise dominated by Agrostis capillaris, Anthoxanthum odoratum and Festuca rubra, with shrubs of Rosa rubiginosa.
Notes:
Present in large patches, spectacular at the time of collection, because of the long arching culms.
