Habitat:
Red tussock grassland margin with stony herbfield on montane alluvial or outwash terrace surface. Scattered plants in patches on mud surface among stony ground where water runs off the slope. Other plants present include Centrolepis pallida, Stackhousia minima [CHR 646027] and Viola sp.; Hypericum rubicundulum was found nearby.
Notes:
Unusual and very uncommon plant community, only found in one place where water runs off slope from a dry bog pine patch with stony herbfield into a red tussock grassland.
