Inflorescences open and sparse - pedicels long. Lemma with long hairs all over lemma body, callus hairs long. Glumes 12 mm. Central awn 12 mm. Lemma body 6 mm. Lobes 4 mm.Sample in FAA, transferred to 70% ethanol, for anatomy.
