Microhabitat:
Occasional (clumped or scattered) Phormium tenax, Carex secta and Chionochloa rubra ssp. cuprea emergent over more extensive areas of Schoenus pauciflorus and Holcus lanatus interspersed with Carex diandra and occasional Carex tenuiculmis. Other associated species include Cirsium palustre, Blechnum penna-marina, Bulbinella angustifolia, Eleocharis acuta and Viola cunninghamii.
