Habitat:
Growing in fertile, very damp soil. Exposed to the sun. Meadow with cropped weeds. Grazed by goats. Vegetation: Commelina, Eclipta, Sessile Joy weed, (Alternanthera sessilis), Kyllinga, Digitaria.
Notes:
Ground creeping succulent. Growing up to 10 cm. Whitish tap root with fleshy spreading stems, pinky-green. Leaves opposite, and fleshy, with slightly raised veins. Petioles very short and stout. Flowers and buds yellow, with petals curled inwards. Stamens yellow.
