Habitat:
Both sides of road as well as the ditch. South facing, on the lee side of the hill. Dampish area, and small rivulets running off the hill were nearby.
Notes:
Appeared that both male and female plants present. Several small communities of about ten plants per community underneath the mainly Pseudopanax and other mixed species. Not dense overhead, with filtered light. Tallest stalk about 2.5m+.
