Notes:
Tree 4-5 m high with prop roots near trunk base. Leaves strongly spiralled, overlapping evenly towards base, glaucescent (i.e. typical of Pandanus tectorius on Ma'uke). Mature syncarp 18-20 cm diameter, globose. Phalanges 7-8 cm long; distal 2-3 cm free; basal ⅔ medium yellow; distal ⅓ deep green.
