Notes:
Fruit. One plant - robust tussock; culms strongly scabrid, trigonous below inflorescence. Sheaths red-brown; leaves scabrid on margins, almost flat when fresh. Utricles smooth, nerved; glumes obtuse, persistent < utricles.
