Notes:
Fruit. Plant tufted. Leaves channelled, shiny green. Culms much elongated when fruit mature. Female spikes clustered below male spikes. Glumes dark brown with cream medial stripe. Utricles smooth, veins obscure; stigmas 2, nut lenticular.
