Population of approx. 12 small trees scattered over approx. 100 m, along a small stream at the edge of a wetland dominated by pasture grasses, Schoenus pauciflorus, Carex coriacea and Bulbinella angustifolia. Other small trees or shrubs in the area are Rosa rubiginosa, Discaria toumatou and one shrub of Coprosma intertexta.
