Large dense shrub 3 - 4 m high. Leaves soft, dull green above, pale grey puberulent below: veins prominent. Inflorescence large and dense. Flowers powerfully scented. Corolla tube c. 8 mm long, pink; lobes c. 2 mm long, very broad. Stamens inserted, in upper part of corolla tube. Style green, below stamens.
