Specimen notes
Herbarium history:
Armstrong Herbarium. Transferred from Christchurch Botanic Gardens (CHBG). The Armstrong Collection was gifted by the Christchurch City Council, July 2014
Supplementary remarks:
This specimen was originally transcribed by volunteers through the Atlas of Living Australia DigiVol Volunteer Portal in 2015
Herbarium history:
Christchurch Botanic Garden Number: 5488
Supplementary remarks:
Certainly not C. solandri. This Carex appears to be included by Cheeseman under C. subdola. I have recently received a very closely similar plant from near Chateau Tongariro. To me it is closely related to C. urolepis, if not that species.
H.H.A. [Allan HH], 9/1/[19]34
Supplementary remarks:
This Carex seems to me to be C. solanderi. J.B.A. left it unnamed. What do you say?
