The Grid Reference is for the kettle lake where the plant occurs. The Craspedia present and common here, but elsewhere in the turf perhaps two or three plants were seen. Present on one side of the kettle in the upper part of the turf. The upper leaf surfaces have many very small glandular hairs, which continue up most of the flower stem until silky hairs begin to appear closer to the flower. There are also some glandular hairs on the lower leaf surfaces but much fewer.
