Specimen notes
Supplementary remarks:
"Algae green, pseudocyphellae yellow yellow soredia punctiform seldom marginal Thallus broadly lobate, lobes oblong to oblong-rotundate, dirty pale yellow or sometimes pale reddish,; smooth, firm, or obscurely foveolate, with a sprinkling of fine white hairs" Nyl. This is probably the specimen mentioned under S. rubella [Sticta rubella] L.N.Z. p. 38 by Zahlb. & the number cited V.167 is probably a mistake. There are two specimens V.167 under S. impressa [Sticta impressa] & so cited by Zahl. These specimens are from Rnagitoto Is. Leg. H.H.Allan.
