Habitat:
Originally planted but now all plants spontanous in the original bed.
Notes:
Bulbous herb, smelling of onions. Leaves concave above acutely keeled below. Flowers becoming pendent by the time of flowers opening. Perianth campanulate. Tepals of outer whorl c. 1.5 x 0.8 cm, oblong-elliptic, greenish-white with green midvein. Tepals of inner whorl c.1.6-1.7 x 1.3 cm (with short claw), suborbicular, greenish-white with crimson flush, esp. proximally, except for the green claw. Stamens white, > style. Ovary shining on top. Seeds freely in the bed where originally planted.
