Notes:
Perennial herb with short stems. Leaves curving downwards in two ranks. Inflorescence branches curving downwards distally. Flowers flattened, c. 6 cm across perianth segments, pale mauve except for yellow crest on falls. Falls 3.5-4 cm long, ± obovate, crinkled towards margins. Standards 3-3.5 cm long, ± oblong but very undulate, in same plane as falls unlike most irises. Style branches c. 3 cm long; strongly fimbriate in distal half, concealing the stamen in proximal half concavity.
