Notes:
Climbing or scrambling shrub. Leaflets shining above. Calyx 3-3.5 cm long, ± dull red on exposed side. Corolla 7.5-8.5 cm long, deep red inside and paler outside, some what zygomorphic (laterally flattened); tube ampliate and curving slightly downwards, trumpet-shaped; lobes 2.5-3 cm wide and broader than long; distally tending truncate. Stamens with anthers ± clustered round stigmas.
