Notes:
Bulbous plant smelling strongly of onions; bulb not collected. Leaves dying off at this time, strongly and acutely keeled beneath. Scapes erect. Flowers pendent at anthesis. Perianth c. 2.5 cm across open flower; segments c. 1 cm long, maroon-purple except for broad creamy-white margins; inner segments broad ovate and more obviously coloured; outer segments oblong-ovate and greenish outside. Species spreading in the bed where planted.
