Habitat:
Open swamp. Growing in two gullies - one boggy and the other dry, but this would be seasonally wetter. Lower gully - scrubby with tall kanuka and mānuka (heavily infested with Korthalsella salicornioides). Top gully - Kamahi and Leucopogon fasciculatus.
Notes:
Common. About 50% flowering.
