Note:
Celmisia morganii lacks purple pigments in the leaf midvein and the leaf margin in the upper half is spikier. C. verbascifolia is not recorded by Given or the Herbarium (no specimen in our collection) from Ngakawau and the Mokihinui, but I think it has to be this species.
