Notes:
Leaves very short, dark green, speading, rolled up, fine teeth on edges. Basal sheath very wide, straw, ribbed. Ligule white, 1.2 - 1.5 mm. Inflorescence contracted panicle. Spikelets, 1 - 3 florets, greenish purple, toothed dorsal on glumes (=) acute - acuminate tips. Fertile. Anthers creamy white 0.3 - 0.4 mm. Branchlets finely toothed. Poa sp. aff. pygmaea.
