Supplementary remarks:
This is an anomalous specimen, the habit, short stalked leaves and capsules oftern shorter than calyx being similar to characters of Veronica beccabunga L. The shallow remote senatorius, the acute leaf apex of many leaves agree with V. anagallis-aquatica L. A mixture of characters from both species
