Habitat:
Climbing and sprawling through gorse scrub, near a rough access track, with planted Douglas firs about 4 m tall.
Notes:
Forming greyish white patch on gorse scrub about 4 m x 2 m. Numerous infructescences on long stalks. Capitula brown-tipped with old florets and involucre of silvery white bracts. No other plants of the species seen. Nearest homestead (Kendale) about 0.5 km to NE.
