Habitat:
Growing amongst Spinifex, Calystegia soldanella, Carex pumila & Leontodon taraxacoides.
Notes:
Infestation comprised c. 60 -70 fertile plants & over 100 seedlings. Infestation first discovered in February 2012. All plants have been pulled out and destroyed. Site has been marked. This species is a serious invasive pest plant that has not previously been recorded as naturalised in New Zealand. It is highly likely that it arrived by ocean current.
