This may be a new record for Arthurs Pass National Park. Flower perhaps 10 weeks old but an adjacent specimen was able to be dissected to show heart-shaped and upturned stigma, and glabrous labellum, suggesting Pterostylis humilis. Several plants seen, closely associated with the shelter from Ranunculus lyallii. The collected plants were at the base of a short specimen of Hebe pauciramosa.
