Corticolous on cyclone toppled Kermadec pohutukawa (Metrosideros kermadecensis) trees lying across road. Associated with Pseudocyphellaria aurata, P. argyracea, and Pannaria spp.
Notes:
Uncommon. Not seen elsewhere on the island during my May 2011 visit.
