This collection does not key convincingly to any species of Camptochaete in Tangney's (1997) key. It is probably merely aberrant Camptochaete arbuscula but the leaves are not collapsed when dry. Branch leaf concavity (weak or distinct): distinct Branch leaf L:W ration: c. 2.5 Branch leaf margin at apex (serrulate or entire): entire L:W ratio of cells in branch leaf apex: 2-3:1
